We are excited to be using Hydroponic towers in Core Farms. Here are the benefits of using these towers:
• Up to 30% more crops than traditional soil-based systems.
• Use up to 90% less water than traditional agriculture
• Takes up to 20% less space than soil- based systems
• Less bugs so there’s less need for pesticides and herbicides
Fruit trees can provide a reliable, free, and healthy supply of fresh fruit that’s more nutritious than store-bought produce. You can also use the fruit to make jams, jellies, cider, juice, and vinegar.
At Core farms our vision is to help feed needy families and show them the importance of healthy foods. We are developing a homeless feeding ministry and it will integrate with Core farms.
Some herbs have traditional and research evidence that they can boost immunity, improve cognition, and support emotional wellbeing. For example, consuming garlic, linseed, fenugreek, and lemongrass may help lower cholesterol.
